The Family Farm Fresh CSA
If you like really fresh, flavor-packed fruit and vegetables, we raise them right here in the South Valley and will deliver them to your home or office each week.
Who are we? A group of local farm families who have come together to sell our produce directly to you, the consumer.
You can choose the basket size that best suits your family. Your basket will contain a variety of in season fruits, vegetables, herbs and farm products, and you can choose from four different size baskets ranging in price from just under $20 a week, up to the large family basket at $47 per week, plus a modest delivery charge.
If this sounds good to you, we invite you to join us in supporting our local farmers as they support your family by providing fresh and nutritious produce for you each week.
Benefits:
- Delivered to your door once a week direct from Local Valley Farmers
- We tell you where and how your food is grown, and by whom
- Our produce travels an average of 20 miles, compared to 1500 miles at the grocery store
- You will receive fresh, in season produce and products year round
- We have at least 29 crops available in Winter, 20 in Spring, 25 in Summer, and 22 in the Fall months
- We also have available local grocery products such as range-raised eggs, olive oil, honey, jams and jellies, cheese, etc.
- You can choose to pay weekly or receive a "bonus credit" for deposits into your delivery account. $250-$499 (5%), $500-$999 (7%), $1000+ (10%).
- At any time, with appropriate notice, you can interrupt your delivery for vacations or any other time you will be away from home.
- You can pay by cash, check, or credit card.
- Every week we include a very informative newsletter about the current produce, articles about local farmers, nutrition and health.
